Good plans start with clear data.

Game update status · reviewed Nov 6, 2026
Recipe baseline: Update 2 QoL default material ratios. The estimates use the pinned community dataset below; reviewing an announcement is not an independent in-game verification of every recipe.
Latest reviewed stable notice: Hotfix 0.3.5 (2026-10-05). The recipe baseline above remains a pinned community snapshot.
Update 3: Custom Game: Public Test Branch; not the stable recipe baseline. Official announcement (2026-10-29). Update 3 Public Test Branch — Hotfix 1 (2026-11-06) identifies public-test build 0.4.0.129402.
Examples use the pinned Update 2 default recipes. Update 3 Public Test Branch switches for building, crafting and unlocking costs are not modeled; corporation-difficulty percentages are not material-cost multipliers.
Upstream review compared 9791922c59e09bbdf13347fee304a7aaca44ba5b with the pinned baseline: no semantic recipe-source change was found; no semantic item-catalog change was found. This source comparison does not establish compatibility with custom settings or every game version. The retrieval date of the pinned dataset has not been changed.

How the calculation works
Targets are finite item quantities. The planner combines demand for shared ingredients, subtracts available stock once at each level, then expands only the remaining demand. Inventory can include raw resources, intermediate parts, and finished targets. The production list puts dependencies before the items that use them.
Recipe selection
The first default source recipe for each output is selected deterministically. Explicit alternative recipes and no-input extraction recipes are excluded. Different machine tiers remain in the library data, but this version does not optimize or switch between them. The recipe detail page names the selected machine.
Ratios and rounding
The source gives input and output amounts per minute. Dividing those rates gives theoretical material proportions. It does not identify a discrete crafting batch, building construction cost, total factory duration, or travel time. The planner keeps fractions during dependency calculations and rounds each remaining terminal material up for the gathering checklist. Actual manufacturing batches may require extra supplies.
Co-op behavior
Automatic assignment balances the count of distinct resource types, not time, travel distance, or difficulty. You can assign a resource to a specific crewmate. A share link contains a snapshot of the plan; copies do not synchronize. Checking a resource marks progress only and does not move it into inventory.
Updates
This is a pinned default-recipe snapshot, not a live game feed. Examples use the pinned Update 2 default recipes. Update 3 Public Test Branch switches for building, crafting and unlocking costs are not modeled; corporation-difficulty percentages are not material-cost multipliers. See the reviewed official notices and source comparison above. A changed game version can invalidate recipe assumptions; compare important recipes with your current game before committing supplies.
